We are proud to be supported by the physicist Dr. in atomic and nuclear physics, Lidia Purghel, with extensive experience and notable achievements. She holds a PhD in Atomic and Nuclear Physics since 1998 and received the Romanian Academy of Physics Prize “Horia Hulubei” in 1997. With 15 years of experience in the design and execution of nuclear units (IRNE – PiteÈ™ti; CNE – Cernavodă) and 27 years in research at IFIN-HH Bucharest Măgurele, her contributions are remarkable.

In the field of radon, she was involved in the research of new methods for measuring radioisotopes in air, radiation metrology and served as an international expert in nuclear equipment. She participated in the World Health Organization (WHO) project and is co-author of the book “Handbook of Rn” published by WHO in 2008. She also obtained 4 patents for tritium and radon measuring devices and was director of the national radon mapping project, which successfully completed radon maps in pilot areas (Cluj-Napoca; BistriÈ›a-Năsăud).

With numerous scientific papers presented at symposia and published in specialized journals, her contribution to the field is considerable and gives us confidence and expertise in promoting radon detectors.

Our laboratory is the only laboratory in Romania that offers a complete radon measurement, control and remediation program for buildings, based on the accumulated scientific and academic experience (screening, diagnosis, remediation and post-remediation measurements).

It is the most complex laboratory in Romania authorized by the National Commission for the Control of Nuclear Activities (CNCAN) to carry out investigations and measurements of radon concentration in samples of environmental factors (air, water, soil), by adopting national and European standards in current practice within the testing procedures.

Over 20 years of experience and international recognition of the research team.
